This thread has been relatively quiet and makes me wonder how he’s doing and what people are thinking. He had some quality offers before signing with us and had some crazy high praise from his high school coach. His coach said he’s coached around 50 D1 players and Alston is a “high major guy” who has the “it” factor. He’s also very young in his class and has potential for growth and filling out that nice frame. His coach also labeled him as a good shooter.

I think it’s overlooked that the pantagraph article said he just turned 17 when he signed with us in November. This means he’ll still be 17 years old when he starts classes in the fall.

Didn't know Alston has a twin brother. He's not listed on any recruiting sites, so I'm guessing not as talented. Still, wonder if he'll be coming to Normal with his brother.
