Well while we're wishing for things, lets wish for a 50 point win. Things happen, you adjust. Good lord

Retire, be honest, tell me we're not going to be at a disadvantage with the late game, in OT, playing early tomorrow?
I think the turn around from last night is tougher. They couldn’t have gotten to bed much before 2am.

I understand, but we're going to be dead tomorrow. We needed to win by 20 so our guys could get some rest. Tomorrow is going to be rough... i wouldn't be surprised if we see another 20 point below out or something like last year.
Loyola didn’t go to a picnic today.

They played 5 minutes less than we did...
But Phil found his stroke at the line in those 5

These are 20 year old kids. We're not at a disadvantage playing 85 minutes as opposed to their 80.

Especially when we've had Tinsley and MY sit almost entire halves due to fouls.

Tell that to the 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, and last year's 2017 teams. They always lost their legs in the second half (or OT if we made it there).

Every single one of those teams played the same number of minutes their opponents did.

I said that the the Birds and Loyola were the two best teams in the conference during their last game. Glad to see the top two teams make it to the championship.

Are you familiar with AAU format and schedules? This weekend is a piece of cake compared to what these guys were raised on. Multiple games, multiple days in a row.

This is why they run all those lines and lift all those weights. No excuses.

Heck yeah!
One thing I will say, Redbird teams of the past never closed out these types of games. I think this is the 5th or so such win this year.
Nice!

Great job getting the ball to Phil down the stretch....and a really excellent job by Phil doing work, and hitting free throws!!!

Let's get this tomorrow!

At different times this season pretty much everyone on this board wondered if we could get to the Sunday game this year.

Well, we’ve made it to the only game that mattered all year. 20 years is LOOOOOOONG enough.

Not worried about tired legs tomorrow. We had to win tonight to play tomorrow whatever it took. Like the announcer said depth won this game. Hein drives me crazy. Hit some good shots and got two assists on air balls!🤪. But still he was a big factor in the win. Madison struggling with his shot but still played his ass off on defense. Two of the big three had subpar games yet we still won. And those two kids played smart in OT as they were the ones feeding fayne. Kudos to fayne for strapping the team on his back for a win. AND to Dan for talking to fayne about his FTs in that one timeout.

Does anyone know if there will be a replay of this game? Don't think it will be on ESPN3. Trying to find a replay of it since I missed the game. Glad we won though!! We made it to championship Sunday. Now, let's win this thing!!
