I would not be surprised to see Evansville still standing on Saturday - Barry Hinson went berserk with his team late in the second half at home vs Loyola - then they did not show up to play on Saturday. The Saluki's may have already cashed it in for the season.

I have always like being a 2 or 3 seed. The reason is that should we win the Friday game (and we should) then the Saturday game is the next to last game of tourney.

Or said another way, if we win our first game, we will not be out of the tourney until late on Saturday.

Worst feeling in world is being done early.

Just win on Friday!!

I agree with that. Playing last on Friday will make it more fun watching the 3 games prior to it. If they lost early on Friday it would make the rest of games hard to watch.

Ken Pom clearly has not seen bu play. What a joke. They are slow on D, have little inside game, and can't finish at the rim. They will be lucky to make it out of Friday.

The tourney is more open this year than it has been in a long time. Not sure if that's good or bad news, but it just is what it is.

Don't turn the ball over 86 times, and we should be fine.

:text-+1: Though the late game sucks, an earlier Redbird loss really kills the momentum of a great weekend. If we fall at all, better it be around 7 p.m. on Saturday rather than 10:30 p.m. Friday night.

So does INSU, Adunk. This broke crappy for us. Both BU and DU lose AT HOME. So we are the recepient of the worst game of the first round.

With my original comment on getting extra time to prepare (yes, even that extra 2 hours), was regarding how banged up and ill our team has been. I would argue (other than SIU and MAYBE Mo State), we have had the worst luck keeping players healthy this year. The whole conference has been injured a lot this year. Rest is key.
