My Starting Line-Up
JK, Mal, Foster, Lewis, Pence

Foster off the bench for as many minutes as the big guy can take.

On the not winning note, I'd like to see Pence play some heavy minutes. Fact is, he's had a rough go but we have to build him up. I don't think that his stats are reflective of the player that he will be, and I don't think a minute here and there has been good for his confidence. Let's actually see what he's has got in this game.

I am sorry, but what kinda player do you think Pence will be? Everyone is so enamored in the idea of him! He has had a lot of opportunities to show flashes and I haven't seen anything. I have seen flashes from Johnny and Walker that make me think they will be successful down the road. Pence is overmatched on defense (size wise in the post or quickness outside), his shot does not look good (even in warm-ups), he is not a good ball handler. He is not going to play any 2A High School teams anymore (which explains his HS Stats). Maybe he looks good in practice (but consider he is going up against players that we have pretty much agreed are not talented enough for the MVC). I am thinking at BEST we see another version of Matt Chastain, but he would have to get stronger to reach that level.

Looks like we may have Davis back. He was in the "Gameday shootaround" montage Illinois State Men's Basketball posted on Facebook. However, not the montage on Twitter...but for some reason there are always more pics on their FB posts.

Don't be sorry, but I ultimately expect him to be a "once in a 10 year period" bird (yeah, I made this up). Let's remember he is "one of just three incoming Illinois State players since the inception of 247 rankings (2003) to be inside the top-200 and finished as the state's eighth-best prospect and the 44th-best small forward in the country." For this crappy program he's a great catch, and we need to invest in him now with playing time. If not this year with this team... ok, but what the heck does that even say? This isn't rhetorical.... I am just really confused about what that would say...

Banks needs to stop shooting 3s. And how dis Kent have 8 rebounds in the first half? Chase has 3 fouls. We may have to use Schmidt in the 2nd half.
