I had heard the Miami OH game may have been incorrectly reported.

Noncon schedules are usually 10-12 games. So, I'm thinking there are around 5 left to be scheduled/announced.
From what I know about the schedule on what I have heard and what has been reported I am pretty confident Miami Ohio isn't on the schedule.

We played them a few times in the 80s and 90s. This was always a game I thought made a lot of sense for both programs

Heard about the SLU game a few weeks ago and love that its on the schedule with a home and home. Hope the game is a 6,7 or 8pm start time that way those of us that have football tickets (granted its vs Murray State) can go to the football game and potentially the basketball later that night. Get 2 Redbird games in that day.

NKU is a great add. They followed a 20-win season (lost by 1 in HL championship) with a 23-win season last year and an NCAA bid. If you want to make the tournament, these are teams you need to beat. Beating NKU, SLU, and our best GCS opponent may not drive us to a bid, but these games can get us battle-tested.

I’m really happy with these two games.

Realistic schedule thus far for where the program is in HC Pedon’s 2nd year. Still have probably 2-3 games left to schedule, another solid H/H would add some depth. I like the roster, win more than you lose, hopefully significantly more and start the trend upwards. I believe the ‘Birds are in good hands.

Looking at what we have so far, I could see us opening at home vs EIU. Would be nice to get a buy game still.

Has anyone heard any whispers of a buy game at a P5 or anything but not announced yet? Just curious if the insiders have heard anything in general, no specifics needed.

To answer this from what I have heard P5 game seems unlikely. Had a conversation with Judson at an event and he said they won't play us. He went onto say a strategy is to wait and maybe a team will get desperate and get lucky for a 2 for 1 as schedules start to get completed but if you wait or don't get a game then you might be stuck with a d2 game instead.

Very winnable tournament. If things go well, we could be seeing a couple former Redbirds in Liam McChesney (High Point) and Sy Chatman (Buffalo).
