Watched the last few minutes, quite a game, hard fought. A couple really poor calls/non-calls down the stretch. Geez, with Lance Jones and Domask and Banks SIU would be really solid, not just very solid.SIU beats the Cowboys
Were those the refs that were used in the USA/Russia Gold Medal game?Watched the last few minutes, quite a game, hard fought. A couple really poor calls/non-calls down the stretch. Geez, with Lance Jones and Domask and Banks SIU would be really solid, not just very solid.
It's not like these were Big 12 refs...MVC sees this crew alot. The technical was absolutely ridiculous
Amy Bonner is a regular Big 12 ref, also MVC. Antonio Petty is a veteran ref, Southeast Conference, Big 10 and few others.Tyler Kumpf is younger, does Big 12 and other conferences. It's not like these were Big 12 refs...MVC sees this crew alot.

Ahh. Lazy on my partOak Hills Christian College, not Community.
I think the Horton game should be once every 4 years (try and let a player experience at least once). Let's hope we start winning, attendance rises, and its a deterent to play at Horton due to the capacity.More of a question for future 2024-2025 non-con thread, but after NSU game does ISU try to bring back the Horton game again next year? If so, how many teams will be willing to play in this intense environment? I’m curious to see how sticky any stigma on our program and fan base will be in the coming months.
Given how difficult it already is to book a solid non-con at our level, it’s likely to be even more so finding someone willing to play us at CEFCU/RA next year.
We might have to take more buy games than usual. If we play at NSU, you’d have to believe their crowd will have this game circled on their calendars.
Given how few players stay four years, maybe do it every other year. We have some work to do on capacity being a constraint, since we didn’t quite sell out Horton this year.I think the Horton game should be once every 4 years (try and let a player experience at least once).
