Jay Wright is stepping down at Nova and retiring.

They didn’t have much of a choice with when they made their AD move. Just total incompetence from the top down.

If I could do a back-flip I would. Nice guy but not the right guy. Better to start the rebuild now than wait another year

One of their transfer recruits from D2 has decommitted and opened up his recruitment already.

One of their transfer recruits from D2 has decommitted and opened up his recruitment already.

I don't know why any of their commits would stay. Summer workouts start in 3 weeks, whatever coach they bring in is going to have to build a completely new roster. Yes, Pedon had to do the same thing...but Pedon will have had 2.5 months and the entire spring signing period.

I've got UE going 0-20 in the league next year.

I agree 100%. They better hope they sign Tom Crean and he can actually field a roster for next year.

Crean gives me very Ggregg vibes. Not as far as potential success, but his slimey-ness. Nonetheless, it'd be interesting to have a "high profile" name in the MVC.
