Loyola has many angles on this recruit. The Mullins/Mullins being one of the the most significant.

Visited Wichita State this past weekend and posted pictures to Twitter. That's the first visit he has shares photos from.

I wonder if the Horne signing cools us on Kennedy. I'd hope not.

No. Muller will get all the recruits he csn and tell the worst to reopen their recruitment. They'll go all in. I don't see both being on the team though. I think the other 2 open spots will go to a 6'8 plus guy and a 6'5 plus guy. I don't think they take two point guards.

I thought it was 3 total and now 2 after horne. If it's 4 then sure, grab a second pg.

Matrix only says 3 open. Im going by that. One PG, on forward, and a big. I doubt two PG with only 3 spots considering they are losing a big, TWO forwards, and a pg and have hillsman, Donnelly, and Horne. Fisher will help with Fayne leaving I'm sure but it sll depends on how Idowu does and hoe much weight Ndiaye puts on.

I didn't look at the matrix but just initial thought: 4 seniors this season and currently one commit for 2019 would be 3.

Donnelly is a WO and will be low on any depth chart. They'll be looking for all 3 positions (guard, wing, post).

Edit: just looked at the matrix. It currently lists Gassman as a scholarship player in 19-20. I'm assuming he stays off scholarship unless we don't fill the roster.

I do that until I get official info from somewhere, and I have to assume like we do for all players that once they are on scholarship, they are staying there until told otherwise.

But Gassman is a WO this year. So he already lost his, right?

I see Kennedy heading to either Loyola (where he has 2 AAU buddies already committed to) or to Wichita State

ISU, Tulsa and Florida State would round out top 5

Hoping I am wrong

I was told by someone very close to the Br. Rice program that Loyola wasn't a serious contender and that it was between Wichita and ISU. Not sure where the Redbirds stand now and obviously that might have changed over the weekend.

Hopefully his relatives are in his ear saying how they would love to come down and eat at the Fort Jesse Cafe, and then catch him in an afternoon game. Life wouldn't get better than that, etc.

Marquise my son will be going to Brother Rice in a couple years and he loves the Redbirds. Pick ISU!
