So I was on shockernet and they seem to think they are now out of the running. Hmmmm

SO ISU or UNLV? No way he picked Georgetown on two days notice.

Never discount the emotions of a young athlete. GU may have been on his short list of schools he was hoping would offer. And while I don’t think recent basketball history would give them an edge, a former NBA Center as a coach could appeal to a center.

If he doesn’t choose WSU, I have to believe something in Marshall’s demeanor rubbed him the wrong way.

Maybe it was his over sized watch!

But the way they are framing it.... "Coach Marshall moved on"

Its like when you don't get the girl... "I wasn't really that in to her anyway..."
That's the approach by the windy one over on Bradleyfan. They apparently only extend offers after the person signs. It's amazing how many recruits they are so excited about but when they don't get them it's a "well we didn't offer".

Thought I agree with your thoughts 2 things:
AN is as much of a "Center" as Hawkins ever was. He's a 6'10 stretch 4. More of a guard skill set than a center.
Second, Georgetown hasn't officially offered

According to Wichita board UNLV signed a big man and has no scholarships left. I didn't fact check. I like to read shit and claim it as true.

They never offered anybody unless they sign. If a recruit decides to go elsewhere then Bradley wasn't really interested. Only time i can ever recall them admitting they lost a recruiting battle was the case of Osiris.

Maybe the delay was due to Abdou waiting to see if a Georgetown was going to offer since Georgetown was kicking the tires? Someone stated Georgetown has not offered.

Well the shocker fans are already preparing for ISU fans to come in their board and gloat over us getting him.

Also, anybody who signs somewhere else only has offers from lesser schools....at least lesser schools in their eyes.
