Looks like wsu might be turning their attention to Aguek Arop or Keyshawn Bryant.

Looks like ISU better focus elsewhere too. We were a bit of a long shot vs Wichita but competing with Georgetown is a whole other animal.

Nice to see the schools we're trying to swim with.

While I agree that adding Georgetown to the mix doesn’t help, I’m not sure they’re a different animal based on recent history. Seems to me Wichita has been much more relevant recently.

Agree as long as ISU occasionally wins one of the recruiting battles vs the big fish otherwise ISU would be a wasting time and resources.

Maybe if one ignores Georgetown's academic reputation, prestige, location, wealth, alumni network, conference affiliation, tradition....etc

When you're in the final four for a recruit, I figure that proves it was worth pursuing. Maybe us offering his other teammates will make a difference. It still seems a bit of a long shot that he signs, but maybe he just feels at home here. Think about Rey. He came here and didn't even want to visit U of I. In general I think recruits are more impressed once they visit here, compared to what our national stature is. But if he wants to play 'in the big time' at Georgetown or WSU, then who can blame him. Myself, I'd rather go to a smaller school and be a star and have all the cheerleaders dig me.

So I was on shockernet and they seem to think they are now out of the running. Hmmmm

SO ISU or UNLV? No way he picked Georgetown on two days notice.

But the way they are framing it.... "Coach Marshall moved on"

Its like when you don't get the girl... "I wasn't really that in to her anyway..."

Especially when you fly your private jet to go meet girl's parents. Or in this case Ndiaye's coach
