Think the key to the Birds will be how much better Keyshawn Evans is from last year. If he's the same, we're in trouble. If his ball-handling and defense improved, then I think we could be a dangerous team. On a team with not a lot of ball handlers, he needs to be the man.
Athletically I think we'll be right there with MoSt.....a little ahead of Loyola. Skill-wise not so sure.
If he gets in foul trouble, then yikes! I thought he did pretty good last year, but he'll have to play better. I'm thinking we'll have a rough start to the season but hopefully get rolling once the Valley games start.
Yeah, I'm not really seeing it with Bradley. Went over to the game in Peoria last season, and it was a slaughter from the get-go. Thing is the Birds were still laying on the Braves even when HC Muller called off the dogs and put in all non-starters.
Also NOT sold on Loyola at all. It'll be an interesting season this go-round in the Valley. If the Birds come together, IMHO they've got a shot. MSU should be a fave, but after that....????
