I think I've seen every loss @ Valpo since they joined the Valley. He should burn the sage and then accidently drop it on some kerosene and watch the ARC burn down.Another patented long period of time where we struggle to score….over 5 minutes with only 1 field goal to rnd the half.
Maybe Coach should have burned some sage in Valpo’s gym.
Burford! We only had 6 bench points. 34 total minutes played by reserves only produced 6 points.
Not hard to defend when the offensive player really didn't do much ... stare down that resulted in a stepback/fade away 3 ... not surprising the shot was short.Valpo defended our 3 attempt at the end very well. No matter the action the perimeter defenders never left the 3 point line. Banks played well down the stretch and hit the bonus fts. Poindexter is a big time weapon when he dribbles to his spot and raises up to shoot the 3. Thought the refs late let Valpo put 2 hands in the back to get offensive rbs. KLewis plays hard!
This is an issue. Unless Luke gets streaky hot, they have been in single digits for the most part since Burford got hurt.We only had 6 bench points. 34 total minutes played by reserves only produced 6 points.
and my wife is still upset by it. You both are right. This game was lost by coach in the first half. We seemed to be scoring very well inside and for some reason went small for a very long stretch when Valpo really took advantage. Once Foster and Walker rejoined the mix things improved immediately. I was not disappointed in Leib's abbreviated effort today.
The football team will probably win 6 with 2 losses by 50 yard Hail Mary TDs.I am/was so disappointed by this result. One cannot lose to the team with three conference wins and call this last season successful. And, we did it twice???? A season that started looking ok, went through a very rough patch, starting looking real good, then a stumble down the stairs. My ISU roommate always said go 500 in the Conference season and beat Bradley twice and you can call it a successful season. It has been years it seems like, since ISU has had a successful season. So, I guess the next question is the football team going to win 8 or 9 games next fall?
P.S. Him and I both stumbled down a few stairs on a Sunday afternoon at ISU.
Well done . . . well doneValpo doesn't play in the MAC. Just throwing it out there. Can't lose if you don't play them.
Did we jinx it by hanging a canvas print of said dunk next to the upstairs men’s restroom at the brewery? It's all been downhill against the mighty Valpo since the Madison Williams dunk.
Nah, it's our one shining moment against that unbeatable powerhouse so it should be on display.Did we jinx it by hanging a canvas print of said dunk next to the upstairs men’s restroom at the brewery?
Foster Lewis sounds like an unknown author who posthumously vaults to sudden popularity and mainstream acclaim after an untimely - likely drug or alcohol-fueled - death. Some interesting wrinkles that benefited us in the second half. Going with 3 bigs, and throwing Leib in late caught them off guard and we made a run. Left Leib in too long though. Shoulda subbed him out at the timeout and gone Foster Lewis the rest of the way. We needed a bucket and were short a scorer
Sat on the fouls to give count too long
When Johnny hit the transition corner 3 I thought we might finish it
Sigh
Sigh sigh
Maybe a New Trier fan foraged the forest preserve and retrieved the HR ball Lottich hit off me. We can blow it up at the brewery and mix it into our beer cheese. It worked for the Cubs with the Bartman ball…Nah, it's our one shining moment against that unbeatable powerhouse so it should be on display.
