My guess is it's purely for marketing purposes so they can send to their database of ticket holders and supporters and create a call to action with a perceived sense of urgency to get tickets. I often see online webinars that literally have no limit on potential attendees use messaging like "register now to reserve your space before we sell out".

Curious what the attendance will be.
Definitely. It’s going to be a part of the agreement always.

Right now it may seem silly. But If tickets were at a premium and ISU fans scooped them all up, Wesleyan would not be happy.

Just like ISU wouldn’t be happy if they played at Illinois and they didn’t set aside tickets for them.

Hate to miss this one. Sounds like it’ll be fun.

I would be curious as to the number in the allotment? But this is a good thing, more the people in attendance the better, period. As far as I am concerned, IWU can sell all the tickets for the Redbirds they want. I just hope the Concession stands will be prepared a large crowd.

In fact, I think they ought to make the Upper Bowl General Admission for every game. Yes, would be able to purchase a General Admission season ticket. This would also make selling tickets on the day of the game much, much easier - stop those long lines out in the cold, because the selling of tickets would not have to take the time to figure our seat location - just sell, sell, sell.
My thoughts exactly.

Just listened. What I walked away thinking is that Pedon Is not afraid to lose. Most times people are scared of a game like this because of the downside but Pedon isn’t. I have always thought in sports (as well as poker) it’s hard to win if you are afraid to lose”. Like what I heard.

Idk maybe it’s just me but, I feel confidence in the coach about this squad not necessarily about this game. Buckle up my good folks.

Many of you probably know. ( IWU is a bit down currently though buttt) : During the 1982-83 basketball season, the IWU men's team defeated the University of Arizona, a Division I opponent, 67-64 in a game held at Arizona. Both Illinois Wesleyan and Arizona would go on to win their respective national championships in 1997.
