Good intel. I was really suggesting Howie coming back was more likely than Strong. Seem neither will be back, then.Howie told me to my face it was suggested that he look to move on.

Would you say Strong, Reeves. and Chatman are better than anyone who we've brought in so far? I would.I hate to say it, but I think we can look at the type of programs sniffing around guys in the portal where they stand. Howie is visiting places like Manhattan. Emon went D2. Strong, Reeves, and Chatman are the only guys getting equal and better looks.
It’s really tough to say. We haven’t brought in a post so yes on Chatman by default. Nobody is as good as Reeves today. Luke was better in high school, but that didn’t show up at KSU. Im not so interested in better individual players. Step 1 of building is becoming a better team.Would you say Strong, Reeves. and Chatman are better than anyone who we've brought in so far? I would.
Reeves, yes. I'd take Kasubke and Burford over Strong and we don't really have a comparison to Chatman yet because they are all guards/wings. I've also been told that Malachi may be the best of the bunch...Would you say Strong, Reeves. and Chatman are better than anyone who we've brought in so far? I would.
Have you seen the incoming play Timmy?Would you say Strong, Reeves. and Chatman are better than anyone who we've brought in so far? I would.
No, but there's no lack of "rating" players on this board whether anyone has seen them or not. Only time will tell, but talent wins. Slow guys don't win races! Right now I'm just not seeing it and their stats (times) are right there for everyone.Have you seen the incoming play Timmy?
No, is Timmy good?Have you seen the incoming play Timmy?
Timmy is the best and dont you forget it!!!No, is Timmy good?
Pedon playing hardball.Good intel. I was really suggesting Howie coming back was more likely than Strong. Seem neither will be back, then.
I was shocked to see the talent in this program.Reeves, yes. I'd take Kasubke and Burford over Strong and we don't really have a comparison to Chatman yet because they are all guards/wings. I've also been told that Malachi may be the best of the bunch...
Shocked how, Pops?I was shocked to see the talent in this program.
I saw some really good athleticism, ball handling and shots being made by spot ups and creating off the bounce. Malachi only ads more punch.
Stats are just as misleading as anything else in this world from time to time. There are too many variables that come into play regarding them. I’m only speaking of Malachi right now. Last season’s stats at UVA offensively were 50% from the floor on only 16 shot attempts. Could he have played more? Yes. Could he had finished the season a 50% shooter. Realistically speaking, he have a chance to do exactly that at Illinois State University. Take a look at Pedon’s offense at Ohio State. Hell believe it or not he shot mid 40’s from 3 as a sophomore in high school. On the AAU Circuit I’ve seen him knock down 7 in a game, with 4 multiple times in a quarter in high school. Truth be said, first years or not this can be a dangerous team under Pedon. The best teams on every basketball level have more than one very capable guard getting minutes. We shall see.No, but there's no lack of "rating" players on this board whether anyone has seen them or not. Only time will tell, but talent wins. Slow guys don't win races! He is a very good on ball defender and stronger than bigger guards think.Popsto4:
Missouri Valley teams are usually carried by guards who are either very athletic, excellent shooters, or both. We can all factor in that you might have a tiny objectivity bias (I don't mean that as an insult; it's just natural), but how would you describe or rate Malachi's defensive skills?
