Aside from character issues, he’d b easy to recruit against.
We don’t need to bring in Bad Boys to fill a roster.

I don’t think we need bad boys, but we could use a couple with a mean streak. I like to think of a Hawkins or John Wilkins. Neither was dirty, but they weren’t backing down from anyone.

Some of these posters have a bias because he was adversary of Mullers! I am over that! I just want to win!

I don't want him because he is extremely toxic. I don't give two rat farts what coaches he had problems with, but he is one bad day away from a national scandal at any given time, and I think the last thing we want is more scandals at ISU.

It's been 24 years! **** what the guy did. I don't care if you have to have someone watch every practice. Now is not the time to be choosie. Get the best. This guy is a top tier school coach. Only reason he chose to stay at Wichita is becayse he was being paid well. Let's give him 5 years and let him turn it around, let him walk to a p6, and hire his top assistant. A temporary move for the better of the whole department. He's going to walk as soon as possible anyway because he's going into his age 59 season next year.

I don't want him bc he's a dirtbag who punched kids. I get that it has been 24yrs but I draw the line at that. If that's how ppl want to win just to win then fine, but that's not how I want to win. I would support the Birds but I don't want a guy like that.

Maybe they'll hire Marshall and have some guy play guitar during the National Anthem at the first game of the year. That should get them going

some school like a Chicago State will let 3G start his on-the-court rehab (marriage of convenience because both feel they have nothing more to lose). I prefer Illinois State to not be THAT school (plus not sure Kyle Brennan wants THAT kind of VERY high risk/high reward target on his back, especially if he has higher aspirations).

Heck, even Dave Bliss was able to eventually get re-hired (at a Christian University, no less).

The good news with our pay scale we couldn’t keep him. He would be 3-4 years and gone!

I change my mind- after reading this I might have to try and kick his ass if he came here.

head.

“Shaq walks away and Marshall punches him in the back of the head,” a former player said. “I’m in disbelief. He’s done flagrant stuff, but that was probably the reason I (transferred). I lost respect for him as a man. The worst part is that Shaq had told Marshall earlier that day that his mom had cancer.”

Morris confirmed the incident came just hours after a meeting with Marshall in which he said he broke down in tears while telling Marshall that he had been informed his mother, Tonya Taylor, who later passed away in July of 2019, was battling cancer.
