Just speculating but I think Gibbs might have Turf Toe. He was in full uniform with his helmet on the entire game vs the Yotes. He was also super engaged with his teammates on the sidelines and very much into the game.

Definitely need him back !

cmel .. probably good guess .. and those get re-injured so easily. We need more WR options against YSU defense ... we might want to warm him up but sit him 1st half, then give him a full go 2nd half. You can usually play thru it once you get going. But once you cool down at half, pain and inflammation returns, and it gets harder to go back out full speed.

Gibbs quoted in the Panty saying he was held out of practice, "but today (Thursday) I pretty much did everything and feel pretty good"

Sounds like he should play and Spack expects him to play.

Started and played last week @ YSU.

oops .. missed it completely. box score says Fowler and Hadden started, but Gibbs did play .. just no catches. Good to see he was on field and hope he is close to 100% ready this week.
