Quality of basketball between D1 and D2 juco isn't nearly as big as between D1 and D2 NCAA. Four of the starting 5 at DMACC have committed to D1 schools: NDSU, ISU-blue, Birds, and Marquette. All 5 starters averaged 11.8 or more ppg, with the highest being 13.0. Very balanced and very team-oriented.

We beat out at least 3 D-I programs - Abilene Christian, Missouri - Kansas City and Wisconsin Green Bay. ACU beat the Univ of Texas in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
