The ladies can help salvage today for Redbird Athletics with a win vs #1 Drake. A win can put them in a tie for 4th place after the MOST/MUST game tomorrow. A loss will likely drop them to 7th place. Free admission for those who may need some fresh air after the Evansville game. Game starts at 4 pm.

Wow! What a game. That is the best we have played all year against a gppd team. Contributions from so many players. IMO Drake will win the MVC but we proved if we play well we can play with them. This game next week scares me. INS is improving, and has some pieces. Add to that we are on the road and coming off 2 big wins with t h e same 2 teams coming up the next weekend. By the way I watched online and although it was a difficult game to call the replays showed the officials called a superb game. The officiating has been so good the last two games after poorly called games the previous 2 Sundays.
Very good game played at a high level. This weekend was big for the ladies. Tough to figure this team, this weekend and also beat Missouri State. but lost to UIC and struggled with Valpo and Bradley….

Great win! Next up is a 3 game road swing against Indiana St., UNI, and Drake. Would be huge to win 2 out of 3. We should be able to win the following 5 games against bottom half teams. A 14-6 record is within reach. Last year, that was good enough for a tie for 4th. I think the league is better this year. Last year there were 5 good teams. This year, there is 6. I expect a few more losses to be spread amongst the top teams.

It was great to be at the game yesterday (Saturday), so many outstanding performances! AND, I’m getting to watch the Marquee re-broadcast today—I think we’ll win again!
Another beating on the road. Losing by 15, but trailed as much as 25. The young guards at least made it look respectable in the second half. There dismal first half offense and the lack of awareness of not being able to guard a left handed opponent was frustrating.
Don't recall ever seeing in the men's game an intentional foul called on a partially blocked shot where free throws were rewarded as well as the ball. Thought it is either a flagrant or common foul. How does the ref know if it intentional? Aren't most fouls by losing teams at the end of close games intentional to stop the clock and hope free throws are missed
