I have no idea if there was a financial incentive to make this move, but I would venture a P4 school’s collective is much more likely to pony up some money to attract a needed recruit than we would have to retain someone.
What I can tell you is that Mizzou (coached by former ISU asst Dawn Sullivan) played in the NCAA tournament, won a match in that tournament, and currently has better prospects for next season. Haith considered the results of her first two seasons, weighed her future prospects, and chose to move on. Like CUBird said, we have time to bring someone else in. The ball is in our staff’s hands to move forward and get the best players and start winning.
