Very cool that they're doing this. Our VB team has certainly become something to be proud of.Those freshmen looked really good the other night. I feel like we have a really stacked team. Some of the players that didn't get in the game at all were big for us last year. That bodes well for us as the season goes on and fatigue can set in with some of the younger players or when someone isn't playing well. I'm really excited about this team.
Yesterday they announced that their will be a volleyball Coach's show on ESPN+ today at noon. It will be every other Thursday.
As you suspected, the show is available on demand. You can watch here.Very cool that they're doing this. Our VB team has certainly become something to be proud of.
I wish they did this for the other sports too. I know there already is a MBB, WBB and FB "coaches show" but it's rare people are just sitting around their radios at 6 or 7 pm on a Monday or Thursday evening. The ability to have these things easy to get via podcast or on demand (like I assume the VB one will be archived on ESPN+ after it's completed) would do wonders for their viewership.
For me, the best part of the coach's show is the player guest. Getting to know a little bit more about the players we cheer on gives me even more of a connection to them. I'm hoping this will push for a in person volleyball coach's show in the future. Being able to interact at the shows with the coach's and players is always fun and you start to realize how much they all appreciate the support they get. I recommend to everyone to go to some shows if you have a chance.Very cool that they're doing this. Our VB team has certainly become something to be proud of.

Oh for sure! I'm not at all advocating to eliminate the coaches' shows as they are right now. They are very much a social event and an opportunity for a group of donors to meet with players and coaches. I'm saying there are fans outside of town who may not be able to commit an hour to just sitting and listening to their radios or make it out to Hyvee/the Pub, or Schooners. I'm sure logistically it wouldn't be an issue to record them. In past years, they've put them on FB live. I'm sure with COVID and doing the shows remotely it's more of a challenge. For me, the best part of the coach's show is the player guest.
