I don't think McIntosh did anything to improve his pro possibilities by going to Oregon rather than staying here. Actually, he would have been at a higher profile on our team. As others have said, the scouts can tell how good a player is regardless of what school they are at, or who they are playing. Heck, looking at conference ratings, it's not a stretch to say the P12 is not very much better than the Valley this year. I am hearing one of the P12 was knocked off by a lowly non P5 team just last night.

And, McIntosh would not have had to turn his back on a coach, program and team that took a chance on him, and invested so much in him. Who knows, he could have very well made the difference in the Valley tourney that would have him dancing this week, which now will never happen for him.

Well said! I don't buy that whole "he did the right thing for his draft status" B.S., they'll find you in Lithuania, they'll find you in Croatia.....they'll certainly find you in Normal.

Let’s rephrase it to be true: He did what he thought was best for his future prospects.
