It’s pretty shocking how much the program has been run into the ground. The next coach will have their work cut out for them. Hopefully someday Redbird basketball will be relevant again and we’re drawing more than 3000 fans to games.

Very sad showing today. We always look so damn dumb out there, so flat-footed, so clueless. Guys have two fouls in the first half, how the hell do they make such dumb third fouls at that point? Why is Reeves in the game with 2 fouls in the first half? How the heck many rebounds and loose balls were we outhustled for? Bunch of guys from Norwalk, Iowa, and Lake City Minnesota and Eldridge Iowa and Cedar Falls and Waverly Iowa took our damn pants down today and they just stood there and looked, bumfizzled! They took our lunch money and laughed at us. No pride?? For God's sake, wake up Redbirds, get PO'd.

McChesney looked pretty decent for the most part. I want to back Schmitt so bad, but come on man, be a man, get after it!! Biggest guy on the court. Doesn't anyone know how to take it strong to the hoop?

At least we didn't have to stay up late to watch this one. Turn the page, move on. No Kool-Aid here.

UNI shot 18-24 in second half. With lack of post scoring, Reeves and Strong have to make shots. Unfortunately, with no Sy ...if if you get it inside the defense is not helping off of Reeves or Strong.

At my age, 64, I don't think I can live that long to see that.
