If you haven’t read this article yet, it’s a good one.

My favorite quote is at the end:
“We love this university and we’re going to give everything we’ve got to it until we can’t give any more.”

above link blocked me. but I googled and found this link.

great article .. and I didn't realize he is yet another successful offense to defense convert project.

I heard else where that he is a very good basketball player .. can run the floor and shoot the three .. not bad for a defensive tackle.

Much deserved again. he had a great career here. Thanks for posting.

The NFL coaches and scouts want to see if he can stand up and play in space. He's a bit too small to play inside the D Line in the NFL but I wouldn't bet against him being able to stand up and play on the edge in a 3-4. As a converted TE I think he's got the athletic ability to do it.

I don't know what he played at this year but my guess is he will be asked to drop a few LB's and play at the 260-265 range for NFL teams. That's plenty big enough to set the edge as a run defender in the 3-4 and still have enough power and size to rush, too.

Again........like with Harris this is a great opportunity for him to show well and possibly land an invite to the Senior Bowl and/or the Combine.

Good for Dalton .. with his athleticism and work ethic, he will figure it out and get to where he needs pretty easily. But guessing losing weight will be easier for him than gaining weight.
