The Lady Redbirds won in 4 sets against Valpo tonight at Redbird Arena in the first round of the Valley tournament!!!!

They play #2 seed UNI at 7:30 in the semi-finals tomorrow night (Friday)!!!!

I enjoyed watching the Birds on espn3 last night.

I wanted to state a name of one player...but decided not to...since the team really did pull it together!!

So what's the opinion of the new coach in her first year? This was my first year watching so I can't really compare her with the previous coach. It seemed like a pretty good year. Wish they could of beat UNI, but I doubt anybody could have beat Missouri State in the final. They looked pretty much unstoppable.
