The ACC and Big 10 are going to 20 game conference schedules. Consider a preseason-holiday tournament that is 3 more games that are spoken for. If a team plays 30 regular season games that leaves just 7 for the P5 to schedule. It is going to be MUCH harder to get these games on the schedule. I read this morning that one Big 10 athletic director said the goal is to completely eliminate Non-P5 schools from getting at-large bids.
