Glad to see the players working out, but they are now getting paid to work out, just an observation not criticism. The off season will be one of seeing what valley school over recruited the other schools and what rougher diamonds become much more shiny. I think going forward who can coach the available players they have the best is likely to have the most success. Almost like grade school basketball, what you get is what you have for players and how you make the most of it is your level of success. Pre season polls probably really worthless moving forward. Not just talent, but coaching and how a team plays together or apart. Look where last years Belmont talent ended up and why were that not better together last year? And that is not all on the coach. Some personalities just do not play well together. It is a whole new world and hopefully ISU can climb out of the rut this year and get a 20 win top of the valley finish this year.
