No way he is 6'8" unless everyone in the photo are on stilts! He is no Kern who transferred out to Northern Illinois his senior year. However, I could see him setting some mean picks. Hopefully, he won't break anyone in practice.

Threloff played 2 years at ISU and his last 2 years at NIU.

Majority of places list Feather at 6"8. A few places have him as 6"7

Good for Mr. Feather; and welcome to the Redbirds. From what I’ve been able to ascertain, a fine young man who appears to know what he wants to do. Get a college degree and maybe play some basketball. But in the immortal words of Charleston Heston, ‘So far, this is not blowing my skirt up gentlemen’.

He's a walk on. No one is claiming he's going to be all MVC. Sometimes the mantra "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" really should come into play.

Welcome! Really glad to have this local join the ranks. This portal business is making it harder for HS kids to get D1 scholarships but if Pedon and staff see the potential in Nicholas, he likely has some great qualities to add value.

I can see Nicholas seeing the floor a few times. Chase has a propensity to foul and Lieb really struggled on offense. Welcome Nicholas Feather! Show us something!!

Illinois/local player - check. Can give us post depth - check. Imagine the battles he can lock in with Chase down low. If he can contribute rebounding and defense, that would be a great thing.

Baltimore hit the nail on the head. There will be games he sees the floor because the guys ahead of him get into foul trouble, and it prevents us from playing a SF or stretch 4 at the 5.
