Hey all, I know securing your RBF account is not usually top of mind, but I'm a security minded techie so this is what I'm doing.
I already had turned on the ability to use 2FA (two step verification) by either getting a text sent to your phone or using an app that gives you those codes.
Last night, I added a new feature to use Passkeys. Passkeys are a new web standard that allows you to either use a physical device (like a special USB stick) or a Password manager like 1Password, LastPass or even Apple's iCloud Keychain or Google's version of password managing, to log into your account. You don't need to know the password, just use your device and you can get in.
Also, if you go to https://www.redbirdfan.net/community/index.php?account/security you can manage all this, you can also see your logins from other devices and remove any you don't want connected to your account.
