ESPN saying this weeks NET rankings show that the NET works and is "fixed" just takes several game to figure out. Ill hold my judgement until March.

How does Kentucky jump 50 spots with 1-2 wins. seems like they fiddled with the formula to make it better for the p5's in the last week

Has anyone seen a rating of last year’s teams and how NET would have ranked the teams? To me this is easy to do and should show what differences in NET vs RPI vs At large selection vs tourney performance.

Looks like Evansville dropped 44 spots overnight. This things swings more wildly than the RPI in the early season.

I threw the NET into the heat chart to compare, and here are the biggest differences I can see right now...

Bullish -

Evansville +27 spots (meaning the NET ranking is 27 spots better than the average of the 4 sources).
Indiana State +10
Drake +4
Loyola +1

Bearish -

Northern Iowa -36
Missouri State -29
Illinois State -22
Bradley -20
Southern Illinois -12
Valpo -6

Drake, Loyola, and Valpo are pretty dead on, but there's quite a bit of variance elsewhere. The same holds for most methods or rankings, but I want to watch this thing closely. Glad Evansville regressed as reflected though.

Happy to be actually retired instead of just sporting the moniker.
