I agree with your picks except that I think Western holds serve in Macomb. That game is chock full of story lines.

I would agree with the two locks - no question.

You are correct on the games listed as toss-ups - should all be close games. I think the Leather heads are going to find a way to beat the Coyotes. SIU pulls off a mild upset of UNI, and Jacks take care of the Penguins.

MoST at NDSU - NDSU wins big .. their run game and defense are impressive

USD at WIU - WIU wins because their run game and defense are better, plus they're at home .. but this game cold go either way .. USD offense is dynamic and their defense is playing opportunistically so far (lot of picks and sacks).

SDSU At YSU - toss up, going with SDSU because they have too much offense for YSU, though YSU has impressed so far.

UNI at SIU - SIU should win this at home, UNI still figuring themselves out. Their defense and run game is not up to snuff yet like they usually are.

InSU at ISU ... ISU will slowly pull away and win by 3 TDS, maybe more

South Dakota is SPANKING WIU at the moment.

Bad day for my predictions ... 2-3.

WIU played right into USD hands in 1st half, but give USD lot of credit .. they are tough on both sides of ball ... they are fast on defense, but susceptible to pass attack. Don't try to bounce it outside unless you must. Plus WIU RB does not like to be hit. WIU should have come out passing more .. note to ISU file.

SDSU loses to YSU .. YSU defense is tough again, but stat line of game by far was time of possession ... 45 mins to 15 mins .. YSU just chipped away at yards and 1st downs and kept SDSU offense on sidelines so they never got a rhythm. 1st YSU drive was 16 plays for 94 yards and took up nearly 9 mins .... 9 mins !!! Note to ISU file for when we play SDSU .. their DL is a little thin and young. As for YSU, I doubt they will chip away like that against our defense. But YSU is legit on both sides of ball.

UNI pass game took advantage of of SIU and hung on to win. SIU QB had bad day ... maybe UNI defense is finding itself finally.

NDSU struggled to pull away from MoST despite getting 3 picks and punting just once all game.

Should be interesting if South Dakota (10 Coaches) jumps ISU.
