Looks like our coaching staff budget, based on the 3 positions, only trails UNI. Surprising how small the budgets are. It has to be really hard to get and keep talent. It seems like you either keep talent through relative mediocrity or you don't keep it (see NDSU). The highest paid HC in the MAC, CUSA, and Sun Belt all make at least $1 million for reference (vs. $400K).

to your point, threw it in an Excel pivot .. some programs are getting more for their money than others !!

speaking of Spack and Farley .. they both made top 10 in FCS wins for current coaches

Active Head Coaches With the Most FCS Career Wins | The Analyst

2nd .. Farley is 180-103 over 23 seasons .. avg 7.8 - 4.5 record incl all playoffs

9th .. Spack is 101-70 over 15 seasons .. avg 6.7 - 4.7

Both have their fans and their detractors. Both have done much better on defense than offense, and much more consistent in run game than pass game.
