Just a thread to keep track of what happens during the season.

If you haven't heard, Drake's Nick Norton is out for the season with an ACL injury. He's applying to get a 6th year. You never know with the NCAA but Hawkins was granted a 6th year at BC but chose not to use it. Norton seemed to use the grad transfer rule for the reason it was intended unlike Hawkins. I hope the NCAA does the right thing. I don't think we've seen the last of Norton.

That comment is pretty dumb considering Muller did recruit him out of high school and as a grad transfer....

I feel bad for the kid. He will likely make a great coach someday. He is far past the 6th year timing though. IMO, you have to be fair to everyone.

It's only a matter of time before, hopefully, someone sues the NCAA over what appears to be a very uneven process in terms of waivers and extra RS years.

We probably would have had a better chance if we didn’t let Bornder run the coaching search and not hire his dad when Pingeton left. We also, probably wouldn’t have went in the tank in women’s basketball. However, he didn’t meet certain criteria that had nothing to do with basketball coaching ability.

Northern Iowa update:

Biggie Goldman was in a boot Saturday with a lower leg injury. He’ll miss at least the next week. Tywhon Pickford returned from a shoulder injury and played six minutes at SIU. Austin Phyfe will officially apply for a medical redshirt.
