MVFC went 4-1 today, with only loss being MoST to UND, now another MVFC team. The MVFC playoff record just keep piling on since 2010. No other conference is even close .. not Colonial, not Big Sky ... no one is close. We will have 4 in final 8. Biggest win was SIU over #3 Weber St (5-0).

Apparently Mo St at 5-4 wasn't as stout as their record indicated. Even with this screwy season, the cream still rises to the top.

I expected wins by South and North Dakota St. but the SIU win over 5-0 Weber St. in Utah was very dramatic and a surprise. SIU is playing with their #3 QB.

The only game I caught any of was the SIU game. Nice drive by the Salukis at the end of the game after Weber St. took the lead. SIU also played well on defense on Weber State's final drive. Nice win for the Salukis on the road. They play SDSU in the next round and they were pounded 44-3 by the Jacks earlier this season. The best that can happen now is 3 MVFC teams survive the quarterfinals.

You know, it wouldn't surprise me at all if that happened when they were all in DII in the North Central Conference. Or UNI with one or more of them.
