I’ll bet if I pull footage I’m sure we could find him blowing kisses to local coeds at a campus watering hole, too.

File this one away with when RBF.net tried to divine the meaning of Tyler Brown’s “we on the oils” (paraphrasing) tweet over a decade ago.
Who's your winner for past catchphrase of the day?
Tyler "we on the oils"
or
"Dodi don't lift weights."

If Foster leaves he can/could be replaced. Not that I would want to but Pedon did find him in the portal. I am most concerned with keeping the freshmen and adding a couple lights out shooters. Pedon will find another wide body. And, no I am not related to Foster and I have no idea what he will or can do. I am very happy he chose ISU for this year.

Reasonable speculation over sarcasm is probably more appropriate. Twenty total posts...

Foster's rebounding, Foster's rotation on his shot, Foster shooting more 3's, Foster's follow-through on his free throws, Foster needing more touches, telling someone to shut up for saying Foster needs to stop shooting 3's, Foster being All-MVC, not caring that people don't like Foster shooting 3's, saying it will be a party when Foster makes a 3, claiming they're a big fan of Foster's game and he should be all league, posting Foster's stats from the portal report about his efficiency, asking if Foster could be All-MVC, posting Foster as the top transfer sleeper from Twitter, and finally clarifying his transfer status for next year.

I don't know, Doug. Maybe you're right. Could just be a giant Myles Foster fan.
I thought the same thing @SlackBooDom posted

Correct, our 4 year seniors could graduate and transfer without having to sit a year even if it's their second transfer. Technically I think they could graduate by the end of the summer ... it just has to be prior to enrolling at the next school.
Propping up the "University Studies" Department!

Foster looks to me that this is the perfect level for him. Puts up really good numbers and can take over the game at times against the mid-majors consistently, being one of the best players on the team. He did really well against Kentucky too of course but if he went to a Power 5 I don't know if the same results and playing time would be there, a little undersized for that level. All depends on what he is looking for though, wouldn't blame a kid if he wants to go to a tournament team and be a backup big over being a top 2 guy on a middling mid-major.

I don't know man...20 & 15 vs No. 8 UK tells me he could play with the big boys.

I don't want to nitpick his game on here since he's probably been our best and most consistent player but I'd say 20 and 15 would be more of an outlier game for him at that level against a team not playing defense or taking us very seriously for a half.

Not to nitpick . . . okay, I’m nitpicking . . . but 20 / 15 game would be an outlier for 99.7% of NCAA D1 players.

Pedon seems to ride the horse when the team is playing well
He makes a point of talking about how much he "trusts" Johnny K, and you know, he's just old school enough (Pedon) to leave Walker on the bench for now down "the stretch" because Chase hasn't quite "earned" his trust yet. Couple more games like that, maybe we'll see more of young Chase. The way he shoots at the line, he wouldn't be all that bad to have in there.

Not true ... lots to talk about ... just not all positive lol.

Joking aside, personally there have been steps in the right direction but they still need a few more horses to get the job done.

I think the lack of trust is probably more on the defensive end and fouls. Walker played in the second half but it was limited. He was in there during the disasterous stretch when we played zone.

Lewis played well the second half and the combination of Johnny, Luke, Burford, Lewis, and Foster made the run when down 15. Pedon stuck with them and I would have too in that case. The thing I find perplexing at times is when a player does well or scores a couple baskets and then they get pulled (and it doesnt appear to be fatigue). Pedon almost always goes back to the game starters at halftime no matter the circumstances. The one thing I like yesterday was when we went down by 15 Pedon didn't panic. In the past he has emptied benches or it looks like a turnstile at the scorers table as he just keeps searching for an answer.

I feel like for all the wrong ‘intel’ that gets floated out there on the board, a victory lap and a Grove Street cookie might be deserved since he was right.
