An MVC team making the sweet16 in women's NCAA is HUGE for the MoValley. When I saw the post in the other thread....I was shocked.

This is so big...that the current Redbird team should go to 3/30 game against Stanford. It will be on ESPN2 5:30PM CDT IN CHICAGO!!!

We beat them AT MSU as well. They had one conference loss and it was to the Birds. On their senior night.

Drake beat them at MSU as well. I figured they had re-established themselves as the team to beat again after that win, but MSU really showed up for the final. I know they lose only 1 senior, so they'll probably be the team to beat next year.

Drake beat them at MSU as well. I figured they had re-established themselves as the team to beat again after that win, but MSU really showed up for the final. I know they lose only 1 senior, so they'll probably be the team to beat next year.

While MoST returns Alexa Willard, Drake returns both Becca Hittner and Sara Rhine. MSU loses its best player, Danielle Glitzen - their leader in scoring, assists, steals, and 2nd leading rebounder. Drake will be the favorite, but MoST likely second.

If we get some post presence to replace Simone Good, we could definitely be in competition for that 3rd spot, likely with Bradley.
