The Iowa game scheduled for Tuesday was cancelled. The 11-11 Redbirds will now square off with 10-12 Missouri State. Missouri State was picked to finish 2nd in the Valley, but they have lost 7 out of 8 with losses to SLU, Kansas St., Oklahoma St., and Indiana St. They will be hungry and will be looking to get back on track against the Redbirds. They stole a game against Indiana State last week.
Interesting note: Missouri State charges everyone, including students to attend games. Pretty wild. They rent the Hammons Field from the City of Springfield and share it with the Springfield Cardinals (AA).
