I don't know about the Big East but Loyola is one of the most likely MVC team's to move up if that were ever to happen to an MVC basketball oriented team.

True on the first point. He's had competitive teams at each of his stops but never able to get over the hump in that upper tier until now. I'm glad for him that he finally did. Also, they did win the CBI (or was it CIT?) a couple years ago and I think that was their first postseason appearance since....? a long ass time.
Time will tell if this is sustainable or a flash in the pan. But this season shouldn't hurt their recruiting or fanbase in the short term.
You just had to bring up Emmenecher didn't you? :lol: God I hated him as a player. Seems to be a pretty good broadcaster though.
