Wow, he took that like a champ.
That's one thing that hindered my development as a young baseball player. Baseballs freaking hurt. I would rather get hit by a 250 lineman in football, a 210 defense-man in hockey, or catch an elbow in basketball than get hit with a baseball. Coincidentally and ironically, my last AB in baseball ended with a HBP.
