Tourney starts today (I don't count the last two nights). Last time we made it was 21 years ago. I was 8. Probably didn't even know Illinois State University existed at the time...
Lot's of not-so-fun-topics of conversation over the last few months (understandably) SO, just for kicks, what collection of players (in their prime) from the last 21 years gets us into the tourney?
The guidelines:
-10-12 players max.
-Didn't have to play all four years at ISU. Could have transferred in or out.
-Can choose a specific year of a certain player (i.e. the 2017-18 version of Key)
-Doesn't HAVE to be dictated by position. Just the 12 best players that would have us tourney bound.
My version (completely off the top of my head) (see if you can pick up when I started following ISU basketball!):
-PLee
-Nic
-O
-Daishon
-Key (2017-18 version)
-Champ
-Hawkins
-MM
-Jackie
-Reggie
-Dinma
-Fayne
Again, off the top of my head. Probably forgetting some better options. Don't hate.
