Something I have been wondering about - an observation I have made during the games. A lot of the "3s" our players shoot in the games are several feet behind the three-point line. However, in shoot-arounds and when they practice - the "3s" are being shot from right up against the three-point line. Thus, I have wondered, why are they practicing shooting 3s from a different spot than where they shoot in the game?? Yes, some 3s are shot next to the line in games. But a majority are not.
