With the understanding the only P5 teams will be allowed in the FBS playoffs from this point forward, here are some options that should be considered for Bowl money and Network contracts. More money, better facilities and program growth.
C-USA With the exception of FAU, that is rumored to be moving to the AAC after next season. Are all winnable games VS the rest of the teams, NC Charlotte, MIDD Tenn, Old Dominion, WKU, FAU, Marshall, N.Texas, So. Miss, LA Tech, UAB, UTSA, Rice and UTEP.
Independents - Army, UMASS, NM STATE, Liberty, ND, BYU
MAC - Could beat any team on any given Saturday or Thursday....if joined, most likely would be in the West, ISU, BALL ST., NIU, Toledo (would move to the East) CMU,EMU and WMU.
MVFC move to FBS as a conference with ISU, NDSU, SDSU, SDU, UNI, YSU, MSU and would bring in WKY or Liberty or NIU,. No guarantee that WIU or SIU will still have a FB program in a couple years of fall back to D II. INSU I don't think would be interested in the jump.
