So how's the new sidewalk coming along?
I see this very differently. There were teams with open H&Hs whose dates matched our openings. Those H&Hs come with a return game next year where we can make up the lost home date this year. Net cost is the dollars that go STX for the buyout, nothing more (except for someone taking responsibility for scheduling this stupid game to begin with).Virginia Redbird said:In reference to point #2...maybe that is one reason why the WIU budget is in the toilet. Bad decisions and tossing money at it to fix their BAD DECISIONS! I would rather see a different team on the schedule as well but is it worth the cost of what the buyout would be? I don't know what the buyout figure would be but that is money that could be used on something else. Just for info, does anyone know what it would cost to buy out of a scheduled game? I have no idea myself.
Yes, that would be have been far more preferable.StLRedbird said:I see this very differently. There were teams with open H&Hs whose dates matched our openings. All they are doing is smoothing out the walkway, and removing the gravel area that the visiting team has to walk through. As it stands now, it is not ADA compliant. They are basically just making it look nicer. Nothing earth shattering here.

Come on Timmy! It's not just your ordinary sidewalk. It's looks to be at least a double wide.!

My bad. I'm sure it's a real nice sidewalk. A real nice sidewalk.

My suggestion is that they dedicate the sidewalk to all of the Walk Ons who have graced our program through the years.

“Walk-on Walk”
just get there before the cement dries ... and make a more permanent impression.TIMMY said:Done. Bringing my Sharpie.BirdGrad2011 said:SgtHulka said:My suggestion is that they dedicate the sidewalk to all of the Walk Ons who have graced our program through the years.
