Reeves still appears to be doing well at Kentucky
Balling out on a losing team. He knows that role well.

Tone listed on the Jerry West Award Watch List:
In UK's first exhibition, Tone started, played 17 minutes and scored 5 points in a 56-38 win over Missouri Western State.

Yes. But did we care enough to remember? Um . . .Can't remember, did we know Sy Chatman ended up at Buffalo, and Josiah Strong at Colorado State? Was reading Minneapolis paper this morning, an article about Minnesota HS players and where they're playing.

Fact remains we lost with all these guys….though I wish Antonio would have stayed.Mahorcic started for NC State and finished with an efficient 8 points and 5 rebounds.
Horne started for Arizona State and finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists on 2-7 shooting.
Strong was out with illness.
Reeves came off the bench for Kentucky and led them in scoring with 22 points on 8-16 shooting.
Freeman started for Morehead State and led them in scoring with 14 points.
Boyd came off the bench for Tennessee State and scored 11 points.
Fleming Jr. came off the bench for Winthrop and had 0 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 4 turnovers.
Chatman did not play.
Which might suggest it was the coach who couldn't get this talent to pull on the same end of the rope?Fact remains we lost with all these guys….though I wish Antonio would have stayed.
Our guards were good offensively last year - stats support it except for TOs. Defensively our guards were below average. Besides Lewis, our front court has been the Achilles heal - especially when we lost Chatman with a torn ACL. We have been a poor rebounding team, interior defense got pushed around, and inconsistent interior scoring. The latter killed us when we were not making our 3s.Which might suggest it was the coach who couldn't get this talent to pull on the same end of the rope?
