I was there. They looked good. Have a freshman that can shoot from anywhere. Goods is a beast inside if she can stay out of foul trouble.

I'm not sure that I'm going to turn into a rabid fan of women's hoops, but I am at least interested in how they're doing, who's playing, etc. So glad to see them get off to a decent start, a couple of newcomers who can score some, some optimism and a better pre-season prediction, etc.

Last year they had trouble shooting the three's, at least in the handful of games I attended. I'm expecting that to change biggly this year, which will really help Simon Goods down low. She missed a lot of easy shots in some games, but would still score in the twenties. Nobody can stop her but herself. Things should really open up for her with some good 3pt shooters. Yeah, I'm optimistic.
