Big deal, bu averages over 17k a game and we are sitting here hoping for 8k. C’mon Birds let’s get this thing rolling.

I would like to share with you whatever you are smoking...BU, prior to their Loyola game, was lucky to get 5,000 people for each game...There is no way they average 17,000 per game. The Peoria Civic Center holds 11,000 max...how can they average 17,000? As they used to say on the Score 670, "Who are you crappin'?

Gentlemen and fellow Redbirds...sarcasm. I will go on the bu sock puppet site from time to time to hear how awesome they are, and how many fans they draw when clearly those numbers are inflated. If you guys start taking me seriously...abandon all hope.

Just bought 2 for someone. Availability is very low.

BTW. The website for ticket sales could stand to move up into technology based on the current decade. The page doesn't scale to fit the device. For anyone not on a desktop the process is a pain. Even using a 2 in 1 with a 12" screen it was bad. Gave up and went to use the desktop i rarely touch these days. I

I'm sure wide swaths of the seats reserved for students will be unused but public seats were down to random scattered dots on the seat picker.

It's really hard to choose your seats on a phone. Allegedly, it was just updated a couple weeks ago.

Usually the mobile version does not allow you to pick individual seats and only lets you pick the section.

The pages after you pick seats was just as hard trying to seal the deal. The 2 in 1 is a Windows 10 device so it's probably not treated as mobile by the site. Should be some easy scripting to scale the page to fit the device\window though.

I don't think it's an ISU issue. They use Paciolan software like every other Learfield team. I would think they would have an easy mobile system to buy tickets.

Kind of off topic for online tickets. I don't ever buy my tickets at an arena for anything, but I think a good idea would be to put in ticket kiosks outside of Redbird. It would make it a lot easier to just buy your tickets off a computer, pick your seats, and swipe your credit card. Much easier than having someone at the window tell you what seats are available.

You're not kidding. No availability in about half the upper bowl sections and the rest are listed at Low-Medium availability. That's a good sign for 8K+ tomorrow

Not trying to be a debbie downer but half of those upper bowl sections are season tickets and always look full on the map.

Still hoping for a good turnout for sure!

Well...poo.

But I've never seen it say NO availability though. No matter, it was sorta cool to see regardless.

We did get over 8K for Drake last year (and Loyola too I think), so it's not beyond the realm of possibility for a similar number vs UE. Of course the big run we were on last year and all the buzz helped in those games

Isn't this the first game since we upgraded our ticketing system? Could be as simple as getting that tweaked and suddenly these blocked-off sections are wide open as they've been all year. Hope I'm wrong, though.

Taste of Redbirds has fewer vendors than ever (HyVee deal feeding Legends Room killed Athletics' relationship with Times Past and Joe's, I've been told - and they are no longer participating, so this may have some legs) and Retro uniforms won't be featured until UNI game, so while I hope for 8,000+ I just don't see it for possbly our least exciting Valley opponent.

Anyone have two lower bowl seats they aren't using our know anyone who isn't? Looking for any that aren't behind the basket. Late notice but ticket office just told they won't have anymore to open up.

They opened up some more lower bowl tickets online if you’re still looking.

Until the students show they can fill some more space, I’d take the first 5-10 rows of DD and sell those to the general public. I’d rather they get $10 a pop from 100 more seats being eaten up than see most of the upper bowl in the student section sit unused.
