I did see something that someone from C'dale tracked an SIU plane from Carbondale to Madison, Wisconsin. Joe Krabbenhoft, associate head coach at UW, name has come up at SIU. Madbird what do your sources say?

I have not heard any Krabby rumors, he's been Gard's top guy for a while now. And has helped with all the Minnesota recruiting UW has had great success with. And half-way thru the year or so, Gard brought in former Badger Kirk Penney as a "special assistant to HC", so maybe anticipating Krabby ready to move on. Krabby is a South Dakota native. I don't know tho if that's a move for him, to SIU.

The story is that the plane left C'dale this morning and flew to Madison with a 30 minute layover, flew back to C'dale with a 4 hour layover before going back to Madison. Someone posted there will be an announcement tomorrow. It will be interesting.

He is a tough dude ….. dont know if he will be a good head coach but he is good at taking a cheap shot to the head. My understanding is that he is a blue collar guy that players tend to like.

Not that it really matters, but they were already Missouri St. when Cuonzo 1.0 was there. Barry was the last SMS coach.

I wonder how their fans feel. Not sure if I’d be doing backflips if ISU rehired Jank in an alternate universe.

existing and potential salaries can’t be too far off? The big delta for krabby is his opportunity to gain head coaching experience for future advancement
