Thank you - that's what makes comparisons hard, some of these schools have particularly well to do alums who make it happen. Missouri State, John Hammons, OK State, T. Boone Pickens. Etc. Etc. I've posted before, seems like we might have such a candidate:We just need to find our Ralph Engelstad.

I don't care about anything else but this ... we now have a suitable indoor football field and surface. That is 98% of what we NEEDED .. never mind what we would have WANTED. It will more than do the job.

In and out of season training on a surface not as hard as a rock is a huge step forward for all our athletes.

File this under “not going to happen.” We have other alums who are worth more and have stronger connections to ISU and the athletics department. We just don’t have a booster who is both die-hard passionate and ultra-wealthy to make a contribution today. It’s possible we see that someday with the Mounier family gift, but that is not guaranteed in amount and is probably restricted to some degree to golf.Thank you - that's what makes comparisons hard, some of these schools have particularly well to do alums who make it happen. That’s not to say that Griffith does not support her Alma mater or won’t make a notable gift someday She was also a very involved student. However, I’m guessing paying taxes and having six children, we aren’t likely to see her cut a $5-10 million check to the athletics department. Perhaps she would be willing to endow a professorship or chair someday. She could make much more impact here than at UPenn.
Probably the best thing for ISU is to convince Progressive to endow something in her name to the Katie School similar to what Microsoft did for Paul Flessner or Growmark did for Dan Kelley at ISU.

so let's survey the 80+ players on this roster, and the entire coaching staff, if they care about brick/mortar vs bubble right now ?
Those facilities are still in Kaufman, but the IPF is only steps away from Hancock and Hancock is adjacent to Kaufman. There are also bathroom facilities in nearby Horton.
Right, thats why I was curious. With both buildings right next to it, probably not worth the extra $/labor to install any of it there.
