Dang it. The best we can ever come up with is an elephant!Given e it’s understandable, don’t think that job will be coming open anytime soon. I don’t honk she loves her players and likes it here a lot. But she’s realistic you hear her talk about the margin of error. That wears on you that you have to thread a camel thru the eye of the needle to get an at large
Well, yeah! And I hope she gets it someday. Perhaps this is a snooty statement but top to bottom I believe she's the best coach/teacher in the athletic department. This girl has the CHOPS.I don't want to read a lot into her comments, but sure feels like she'd like to return to NC State some day.
10 years ago...maybe? I'm with you. I'd love for her to stay and build us a top 25 program. I mean, why the hek not? I just don't believe with the current NCAA scene that we can keep her, and she is quite ambitious. She comes from a winning family (putting it modestly) and played college basketball at the highest level for one of the greatest coaches ever. You're talking a triple to quadruple increase in base salary...and probably the game changer - much higher talent that will consider your program and allow you to compete legitimately on a national scale. And the kicker. Her pedigree makes her a very attractive candidate for a major job.I understand where you are coming from Humdinger, but man we haven't won a lot (women's basketball has had success so maybe different for them) and I'm greedy. Why can't we get a Ben Jacobsen?
Their program has the same in every major program they have: Tanya Warren, Bobbi Petersen, Mark Farley. It’s other programs too. They can’t keep ADs, but they keep coaches.I understand where you are coming from Humdinger, but man we haven't won a lot (women's basketball has had success so maybe different for them) and I'm greedy.
