NCAA would have to grant a waiver. ISU would write something up for why he missed the whole year and the NCAA would rule on it. It's basically granting him a 6th year. NCAA has been more sympathetic to granting these recently. They were down right wrong to not grant one to Tarise Bryson.

They are still working on the decision for Bryson, we should know soon

I think Romine would be rolling the dice. ISU is not a Power 5 and does not usually get any favors. I don't believe you get the NCAA decision until the season is over so that is an issue for Romine to consider. Now, if we can sell that is likely to transfer to P5 for year 6, we might have a chance to get that 6th year.

I am hoping he sees some action and starts to play. I expected him to get a few minutes last night.
