Fantastic game, as much as I don't like Bradley, we are now within 2 games of the top spot and play all 3 teams ahead of us. Not to say I am expecting to win the league by any stretch, but the fact that we are in the hunt after the season has gone, feels pretty good at this point.

The end of this game reminded me of SIU @ Mo State. Had a time out and 10+ seconds left, and Lusk let them play it out. Moser did the same thing. Had Moser called a time out, they could have done the same thing offensively, but he could have told his players to be more aware of the clock and score. If you have the shot take it. Well, at least for Porter, timeouts carry over to the next game.

Tornado and Da Coach either created a bunch of new profiles or they actually have real posters on Bradleyfans after last night.

Friendly reminder about the big BU / ISU pregame party at Kellehers on Water Street 3 blocks from the civic center before the big game on Feb. 14. The festivities start at 4:30pm, and you can stay and watch the game if you wish. This is the most excited I've seen BU fans in years. All the trash talking is back. C'mon out! We really need to Spread the Red on this one.

Regarding tornado and profiles, I dunno about this season, but I would wager he has created hundreds over the years. On many different forums. But this rise in BU interest is real, and we need to be right there with them

Maybe the rivalry can come back, but I think the Gargoyles are still prone to turnovers and questionable decisions, like Kennell’s out of control missed shot toward the end of the game. I also think it is easier to contain Kennell, Brown, and Hodgson than it is for Thomas and Childs. The ice rink crowd will be hostile since we have owned Bradley for the past 10 years. Do not allow the back cuts and lobs and defend the three ball.

The word that comes to mind when looking at Bradley last night was INTENSITY. We're better than them, but if we don't match their intensity in Carver, we'll get smoked.
